20th anniversary of the KPM
Since 2002, the KPM Center for Public Management at the University of Bern has been dealing with state institutions, their actors and their relations with policymakers, the business community and society.
Since 2002, the KPM Center for Public Management at the University of Bern has been dealing with state institutions, their actors and their relations with policymakers, the business community and society. “We investigate how well the state solves the problems it is supposed to solve,” says Adrian Ritz, Managing Director of the KPM. It thus makes an important contribution to the transfer of knowledge between higher education institutions and people with practical experience. “The KPM in the strategic focus “Politics and Administration” of the University of Bern has been an essential pillar of the capital region of Switzerland in the field of education and research for 20 years,” says Christian Leumann, Rector of the University of Bern.
The KPM’s 20th anniversary was celebrated at the Swiss Governance Forum on November 4, 2022 – the forum that offers representatives from politics, business, science and society a platform for dialogue which enables them to examine and question the opportunities and risks of established concepts from different perspectives.
